What We Do

College Scholarships

Our Kiwanis club raises funds for college scholarships every year that are presented to students at Winder-Barrow High School and Apalachee High School.

Key Club Sponsorship

Our Kiwanis club supports Key Club service projects, facilitate the Key Club meetings, provide mentorships and provide college scholarships for the Key Club students.

Kiwanis Bring Up Grades (BUG) Sponsor

Certificates, pencils and ice cream coupons! We honor student achievement through their deeds and actions at school. We are currently sponsoring the BUG program at Holsenbeck Elementary School.

Peace Officer of the Year

Each year we honor a member of the Winder Police Department and the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office for their dedication and service to our communities

Dictionary Project

Each year we provide dictionaries to every third grade student at Bethlehem Elementary School.

School Supplies

Each year we donate school supplies to students in our school district. We work with Barrow County Family Connections to help with the distribution.
